Floating thermo-acoustic facades in ecological and intelligent buildings

Architects have developed various methods to protect buildings and windows from environmental changes. While over-facades or wrappings are commonly used, they often compromise the aesthetics of the building in order to improve insulation. Double-glazed windows are an alternative, but their high cost limits their widespread use. We offer a cost-effective double-glazed window with exceptional temperature and noise-insulating properties in
ecological and smart buildings, maintain the façade aesthetics without the need for wraps or additional facades. These designs are specifically crafted to shield from the sun and reduce window heating. Our thermo-acoustic windows compete with traditional envelopes in terms of design, cost, and insulation efficiency. It is more affordable, offers superior insulation, and seamlessly integrates into the overall design as a floating window. Installation is similar to single-glass façades or special insulating glass, which can be expensive. Additionally, any design and curved glass windows can be incorporate, providing endless possibilities for architects.

The INNOVA window is a hermetically designed window to insulate noise and temperature at the lowest possible price, without sacrificing performance, durability or appearance. High insulation is obtained with standard glass, although any type of glass and colors and adhered films can be used.

This window allows architects to protect and insulate their projects without expensive, damaging facade wraps. We have designs for every case and can adapt our windows to the needs of your design. Our windows create efficient protection at an affordable price and at a lower cost than over-facades, wraps or sun-covers.

There is no overheating of glass or windows due to exposure to sunlight, they are self-cooled to keep the window at optimal temperature in winter or summer. Some designs incorporate blinds with automatic control by sunlight and temperature to maintain room temperature according to the user’s needs. This system reduces construction, maintenance and operation costs, but it is not an air conditioning or heating system, it reinforces and reduces the costs of the building’s air conditioning system.
Different materials and combinations
Profiles of any color upon request, because we manufacture our designs. Material guarantee from the raw material manufacturer, such as PVC. The frames can be made of PVC, aluminum, wood or combinations of these materials according to needs. In PVC and aluminum all colors and textures, including imitation wood grain.

EULTRA THIN WINDOW

This is a thermo-acoustic window with a 15 mm separation between the internal glass surfaces, with 2 glass panes of 6 each. The insulating unit is 27 mm thick, which is thicker than many standard windows on the market. This window is designed for interior separations and insulation where you want to minimize visual obstacles and maintain the feeling of the designed space, but fulfilling an insulation function.

It is also used to overlay windows where you want to insulate noise and temperature without removing the existing window. The insulation achieved is very efficient and at a low cost. The insulating component is 3 panes, the one from the existing window plus 2 panes from the ultra-thin thermo-acoustic window. Installation is quick and clean, because it is overlaid in the space between the internal glass surface of the installed window and its frame. This window is almost unnoticeable after installation, it does not alter the aesthetics or reduce light. The sash is installed over the existing one, which opens outwards, the sash of the ultra-thin window opens inwards.

Interior architecture

Insulating interior spaces from noise and varying temperatures, without compromising aesthetics, and staying within a reasonable budget has been a challenge. Traditional separation elements tend to be bulky and expensive.

With our system, separating different areas and noise zones is no longer costly or reliant on difficult-to-manage design elements. We provide solutions for every scenario where insulation does not have to sacrifice appearance or be achieved with elements that are hard to integrate into a pleasant design. Our insulating partitions serve as decorative elements offering the option to use different types of glass, flat or decorated, special decorations, lights, and environments that seamlessly blend into the insulating element without altering its appearance or adding bulk. Functionality and aesthetics are seamlessly integrated into the design at minimal costs. The only limit is one’s imagination.

Options for Builders

INNOVA thermoacoustic windows offer the benefits of double-glazed insulation at affordable prices, making projects feasible and profitable.

Now it is possible to construct buildings in prime city locations with high demand for housing and offices, even in noisy areas requiring window insulation. Typically, these projects are abandoned due to the high costs of double-glazed windows. However, with INNOVA thermo-acoustic windows these projects become viable. The expense of noise control through double-glazed windows no longer poses a barrier to project feasibility. These windows also reduce air conditioning and heating expenses creating comfortable environments by regulating the window temperature.

The lower cost of our windows is attributed to various factors. They are designed for tropical conditions, rather than regions with distinct winter and summer seasons. The dimensions of the window frame are for standard windows, without space for hardware which increases the product cost and absorbs more heat. Our designs leverage principles of Physics and utilize the best natural insulator, air, along with technical advances in electronics for forced air circulation or convection to eliminate radiant heat. The best insulator is the separation between the internal faces of the glass panes that make up the thermo-acoustic window. Our double-glazed windows have a separation of 3,1 centimeters between the internal faces of the two glasses, which remains consistent with all glass thicknesses, maintaining an overall panel width of 5,3 cm. Additionally, our panel construction method creates hermetic windows, and the installation on the supporting structure is also hermetic, ensuring overall air tightness between the dwelling and the outside.
