1. Measure the noise. Measure in decibels, do not worry about frequencies, measure what bothers you and at what times it bothers you. On your cell phone there are applications to measure decibels. The insulation system and thickness of glass to use depends on the dB that bothers, the higher the dB, the thicker the glass and the more expensive it is. The insulation is calculated for each situation, according to measurement and comfort sought.
2. Check air infiltrations in windows, spaces between frame and window, tightness between it and the structure of the habitat, ceilings and doors on the sides of the noise sources. The solution has to be comprehensive, if you invest in windows and the rest is not airtight, your investment is not optimal.
3. Self-quote. The cost depends on the design, shape and size, materials used and airtight installation. Glass is an important part of the cost. Calculate the approximate cost of the insulation to be installed. Select whether it is dB or Degrees. Enter the data into the Auto-Quote in the options shown.
4. Shapes and Size. Draw the shapes of your windows, according to the most common ones. Select the shape most similar to your window A, B, O, C. Measure accurately. Enter measurements in the Auto-Quote options.
5. Which window and glass option to use. In each option, vary the glass thickness in the list, considering that the entire enclosure is airtight. Select the glass thickness option.
6. Cost. The Auto-Quote will estimate the cost of the solution with the options you selected.
7. Simulations. Archive the solutions. You can calculate different options, compare them and select the one that best fits the desired insulation and your budget.
8. Final budget. Send the selected solution, we evaluate it. A visit is arranged to review and calculate a final budget. We charge a small reimbursable cost in the contract to verify the airtight integrity of the enclosure, review measurements and recommend the optimal solution. The expert can make the final estimate less than the quoted car. If you decide to hire, this cost is reimbursed.
9. Contract. The contract is signed, agreeing to pay, start and delivery dates. We finance.
10. Delivery. Insulation tests. Insulation is delivered according to the agreed contract and date.
